Szandra Tóth

My name is Szandra Tóth, I’m a makeup artist based in London.

I’ve grown up in a big town in Hungary, developing my love and appreciation for makeup at an early age. I used to be a competitive dancer and I was always intrigued by all the products applied before going on stage. I remember how special I used to feel under all the layers of stage makeup and I would love to help my clients achieve the same. I strongly believe in the power of makeup, whether it’s just used to enhance the natural features of one or to create a bolder look.

After I moved to London I decided to embark on a journey to become the makeup artist I always longed to be. I was trained at the Academy of Freelance Makeup and since graduating I’ve gained a lot of experience working along with fellow creatives working on numerous beauty and fashion shoots.

My approach to projects is friendly, creative and professional.  I’m in the process of turning my makeup kit completely cruelty-free, without compromising the quality, using brands such as Urban Decay, Dermalogica, Too Faced, Ben Nye, Kryolan, Mehron and Charlotte Tilbury.

I mostly work in Greater London and surrounding areas, but I’m happy to travel for an inspiring project.
